METHOD / LOCAL RUN
The value normalizes to pixels via fixed ratios (96 px per inch, 72 pt per inch, 6 pc per inch), then ems and rems assume a 16 px root font size.
Boundary: em/rem conversion assumes a 16px root font size; user can adjust in code, but tool uses 16px as default.
