METHOD / LOCAL RUN
For a non-zero rate, monthly payment = P × r(1+r)^n ÷ ((1+r)^n − 1), where r is the monthly rate and n is the number of months. A zero-rate loan is principal ÷ months.
Boundary: The model assumes fixed monthly payments and excludes fees, taxes, insurance, rounding policies, and lender-specific terms.
